We at SII – Swiss International Vocational Institute in Dubai (UAE Department of Dubai Economic Development – License No. 1196747) are proud to announce that the online department of our education group, operated and managed from Switzerland, recently underwent a comprehensive institutional inspection conducted by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities).
SII is part of the ISBM International School of Business Management in Lucerne, Switzerland – allowed to operate independently by the Cantonal Board of Education – and a member of the Swiss International University (SIU) network. SIU is a state-accredited institution licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (KG), ensuring that every degree awarded through the network is legal, recognized, and accepted worldwide.
Why This Inspection Matters
ASIC is one of the most respected and internationally recognized accreditation bodies in education – officially recognized by the British Government, listed in the U.S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Directory, and a member of both the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the British Qualifications Framework (BQF).
An ASIC inspection is not symbolic. It is a rigorous, evidence-based review, comparable to a regulatory audit, designed to ensure that institutions meet the highest international standards in academic quality, governance, infrastructure, and student support.
The Scope of the ASIC Review
The inspection covered four critical areas:
Academic Excellence – Evaluating the relevance, quality, and global alignment of our online programs.
Governance & Compliance – Reviewing leadership accountability, institutional policies, and adherence to regulations.
Facilities & Infrastructure – Assessing the adequacy of digital and operational resources to support innovative and effective learning.
Student Support & Wellbeing – Ensuring online students receive comprehensive academic and personal assistance.
ASIC is known for its strict, impartial, and uncompromising approach. Institutions that do not meet its high standards risk losing accreditation. Successfully completing such an inspection reaffirms our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Proud of Our Quality in Online Education
As the Switzerland-based online department of our education group, we ensure that our distance learning operations meet the same high standards as our on-campus programs. This inspection demonstrates our readiness to be evaluated by internationally respected quality assurance bodies and our dedication to delivering world-class online education.
Quality assurance is not a one-time milestone – it is a responsibility we proudly uphold every day.
